Uche and Akudo cutting their wedding cake in Lagos...recently.

The Managing Director of Integrated Oil and Gas Limited, Mr. Uche Lloyd Iheanacho wedded his heartthrob, Amy Akudo Iheakanwa.
The wedding which took place in Lagos recently was chaired by a former Chairman of Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority (OGFZA), Dr. Chris Asoluka.

Many stakeholders in the maritime sector of the economy as well as those in the oil and gas industry also graced the occasion in honour of the groom’s father, a former Minister of Interior and Chairman of Integrated Oil and Gas Limited, Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ihenacho said the event is a thing of great joy as he saw his first son make a major development in life.

“I am excited that Uche makes this beautiful decision to get married to an amazing lady and I see it as a sign of great responsibility. Obviously, it also shows that we are following the instructions in the Bible which admonishes that people should at some point in their lives leave their parents and embrace their wives”, he said.

The veteran oil and gas operator, advised the newly wedded couple to prioritize tolerance, love and respect, stressing that these virtues will preserve peace and strengthen their union.

According to him, nobody is 100 percent perfect. So, I’ll advise that they love one-another and tolerate each other.

The bridegroom who has been managing his father’s firm in recent years was to have bumped into Akudo during his grandmother’s service of songs in Apapa 2017.
