The Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Limited, Chief Kestin Pondi has fulfilled his promise to a bassist, Mr. Simeon Djagbo.
It learnt that Pondi made the promise to Djagbo a month ago in the port city of Warri, Delta State.
This was sequel to Pondi’s attendance of a concert in Warri tagged “Ratata Fiesta, The Jamboree Edition”, held at Dy Events Place and Lounge by TJ Hays. Many dignitaries from all walks of life attended the concert.
It was gathered that the bungalow which has a 3-bedroom flat, self-contain apartment with a bed-sitter was presented to Djagbo in Warri recently.
Maritime Bits learnt that Djagbo has no fingers but is a top-notch player of the guitar and how he does it remains very heartbreaking.
According to sources close to Pondi, Djagbo was playing the guitar with so much passion and enthusiasm on stage, and a lot of people were attracted to him including the Managing Director of Tantita who could not withhold his excitement and was triggered by his humanistic morale to promise him a house.
Maritime Bits checks revealed that Pondi announced a 6 months duration at the concert to fulfill the promise but the fulfillment came far earlier than expected; just a month from the day he publicly made the promise.
Following the development, a lot of accolades had been showered on GOC Tompolo and the Pondi for their endless show of love to the needy and less privilege in the society, especially those around them.
TJ Hays who is popularly known as King Ratata could not hide his happiness as he continued to pray for Pondi and Tompolo for their immense support to the entertainment industry in general.
Pondi also used the occasion give the Ratata Master $10,000 cash to encourage him for his efforts to make his marks in entertainment.
“Their good heart of giving is immeasurable. I am happy they say it and they do it. It is not easy to make promises and fulfill them but these gentlemen make promises and they fulfilled them. I am loyal to these great men”, TJ Hays said.
Djagbo in video clips that surfaced on the internet was seen dancing, jubilating, and thanking God for the last-minute miracle in 2023, as they would always say, “It’s not finished until it’s finished, I pray and God almighty answers my prayers.”
He prayed God almighty would bless TJ Hays for finding him worthy to be a member of his band. He is my king as always.
