Mrs. Theresa Nwamaka Ofodu was the mother of the former Acting Managing Director, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Chief (Mrs.) Chinwe F. O. Ezenwa. Besides being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Ofodu who passed onto glory on September 19, 2021 at the ripe age of 86 was a woman of many notable attributes, including hard work, business acumen, discipline,honesty and her unique dance steps that lighten up the crowd wherever she goes. Her funeral rites began in Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre, Lagos where a requiem mass was held for her at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1004 Estate, Victoria Island on October 29, 2021and a funeral mass at Saint Mary Catholic Church, Akama Oghe, Ezeagu Local Government Area, Enugu State on November 3, 2021.
