Dearest gentle readers,
On 16th August 2025, I penned my first article, “To Respond or Not.” This was two weeks after the seed for this column was planted by a very dear friend.
In his words, “What are you waiting for?”
Indeed, there was nothing to wait for.
And so, on that lovely Friday morning, I sent my first article to the ever-amiable Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Maritime Bits.
Forty articles later, Saturday with Eni clocks one year.
One year of learning, reflection, writing, and sharing. One year of showing up every Saturday.
I am eternally grateful to God for the gift of writing and for the grace to keep using it.
To the ever-supportive Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Maritime Bits, thank you for giving Saturday with Eni a platform. Thank you for believing in the column and making room for my words.
To my dear readers, thank you.
To those who send in feedback, share their thoughts, tell me how a particular piece resonated with them, and to those who quietly look forward to the next article every week—thank you.
Because of you, I look forward to every Saturday.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for engaging. Thank you for allowing my words to become part of your Saturday.
And if an article has ever resonated with you, perhaps this is your sign to share it with a friend or family member. You never know who might need those words.
Thank you once again for your support, your encouragement, and for coming along on this journey with me.
Happy one-year anniversary to Saturday with Eni!
Here is to more thoughtful pieces, more conversations, more reflections, and many more Saturdays together.
See you next week.
