One of my favourite icons once said: “Take that step you have been holding off on. It is either it works out or it does not.”

In January, I know you must have created a list of goals and targets you want to achieve this year but newsflash, we are in April and you are yet to move the needle on some of those goals. Why? You are waiting for the right moment, for approval, overthinking or just afraid of feedback. But the more you delay, the more you are losing out on experience and that is anti-progressive.

One thing I have seen over time is that, if you really want to do something, you will. The excuse of waiting to get motivated or for people to support you will not come up. You will just go ahead and do it.

Look at your goals again, pick one or two, and then start with small immediate steps that will add up to achieve that goal. Make the call. Schedule that meeting. Make inquiries. Send that email. Whatever it is, start.

Just do it.
