President Muhammadu Buhari will today Tuesday leaves for London, United Kingdom, the Presidency has said.
It said Buhari will undertake a four-day trip to see his doctor.
According to a statement from the presidency signed by Mr. Shehu Garba explained that “in the course of the technical stop-over for aircraft maintenance in London on his way back from Washington last week, the President had a meeting with his doctor.”
He added that the doctor requested the President to return for a check-up in which he agreed to do so.
The President is expected to return to Nigeria on May 12, 2018.
The statement was silent on the nature of the illness or those to accompany him on the trip.
