Members of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) risk arrest if they foment trouble, the founder of NAGAFF, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam has announced.
Aniebonam’s announcement is coming on the heels of the tension trailing the processes of election into various positions in the Apapa Chapter of the association.
Following the development, Aniebonam has directed the National President of NAGAFF, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi to arrest anyone who is perceived to breach the peace of the ongoing Apapa election and ensure that such a person is investigated through the Nigeria Police and if found culpable should be charged to court immediately
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary NAGAFF, Dr. Clement Iwegbuna, the founder insisted that membership of the association is voluntary and there should not be any reason why a member should be in NAGAFF and cause the breach of the peace of the society.

According to the statement which was made available to Maritime Bits, the high command of NAGAFF cannot fold its hands and watch anyone foment trouble in the association whereas such a person has a choice of joining any other association. The perceived leadership failure in some of our sister associations cannot be allowed in NAGAFF for whatever reason.
Aniebonam appealed to members of the association in Apapa, especially the contestants to keep the peace and follow the rules of engagements, electoral guidelines and constitutional provisions of NAGAFF.
“Enough is enough”, Aniebonam who is also the founder of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) declared.
