The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has clinched the best agency in Nigeria award back to back.

The award which is under the auspices of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) Transparency and Efficiency was clinched by NCDMB for 2025. 

Hitherto, NCDMB has won the award in 2022, 2023, and 2024. The award is based on specific requirements promoted by PEBEC among all ministries and agencies in the country.

This latest recognition underscores NCDMB’s operational excellence, teamwork, and consistent engagement with partners and industry stakeholders. It reflects NCDMB’s focus on efficiency, transparency, and quality service delivery. 

The PEBEC Awards and Gala Night celebrated public service reforms. The event was chaired by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima. PEBEC Director General Princess Zarah Audu commended the Board for automating processes to minimize human interference, urging other agencies to adopt similar approaches. 

NCDMB in a statement made available to Maritime Bits said the award was presented to the government agency on December 2, 2025 at the State House in Abuja.

According to the statement, NCDMB Executive Secretary Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe who was represented by the Acting Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Omomehin Ajimijaye received the award on behalf of the board.

The NCDMB helmsman used the occasion to highlight the board’s full alignment with public policy reforms and commitment to the implementation of its mandate, as enshrined in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. 

The Board also received the Reform Champion Award, presented to Engr. Cityfaith Baribor Zorasi for exceptional performance as NCDMB’s liaison to PEBEC. The award carries a cash prize of N1 million naira. 

According to it, NCDMB remains committed to strengthening service delivery and institutional performance, advancing local industry growth under the NOGICD Act of 2010, and raising standards in the years ahead. 

The NCDMB thanks PEBEC for the recognition and appreciates its staff for their dedication and hard work. Congratulations to the entire NCDMB team.
