The Executive Secretary Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe joined dignitaries from across the country to pay their last respect to the late elder statesman and founder of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.
Ogbe who was accompanied by NCDMB Director Planning Research and Statistics, Mr. Isaac Yalah to the funeral ceremony which took place at Kiagbodo, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State.

It is on record that Kiagbodo is the community of the late Ijaw nationalist who kicked the bucket a few weeks ago.
The NCDMB boss described the late Clark as a staunch local content advocate, educationist, philanthropist and statesman just as he noted that most initiatives of the NCDMB aligned with some of the ideals and programmes championed by the late Ijaw leader.
A statement issued by NCDMB and made available to Maritime Bits quoted Ogbe assuring that the Board will sustain Clark’s legacies through effective implementation of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act, particularly the integration of oil and gas producing communities into the industry value chain.
