God said to His servant: ‘Raise me an army; a people strong in faith, empowered by wisdom, intimate with the Holy Ghost, doing exploits in life and for God. We believe that in Salem, God is at work, saving, healing and making many mighty”. This is the mantra of a people known as Salemites, members of Foundation Faith Church founded by the visionary Archbishop Sam Amaga. The church started in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria and has today metamorphosed into a revival army of believers who are doing great exploits in their various fields of endeavour and in the kingdom of God.
His grace, Archbishop Sam Amaga, was involved in ministry from 1973 and by 1988 established Foundation Faith Church in the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt. By 1998, he moved to Lagos to establish the ministry as well, having done remarkable work in Port Harcourt. He has since gone on to establish the ministry in other regions of Nigeria, the African Continent, Europe, America and is on an apostolic mission to plant more churches around the world. The Archbishop is a man who is passionate about revival, winning souls for Christ; discipling, training and equipping them to be leaders in the church. This is reflected in his messages and teachings over the years.

He is married to Dr. Love Sam Amaga and they are blessed with five wonderful children who are also involved in ministry work. He is the founder and visioner of Salem University, Lokoja, Kogi State. It is S on record that Salem University is a world class institution that is committed to raising global leaders. He is also involved in philanthropic activities through his foundation, Sam Amaga Foundation. This foundation has provided succour for many orphans who had no hope of education and a better life but today are shining stars.

As he turns 72 today, I celebrate a man, who in his light, many have seen the light. A faith general who since the day he answered God’s call, has not looked back and continues to yield himself to the Lord for kingdom’s sake, especially in these end times. A man who has chosen to make us choose to succeed. A teacher, leader par excellence and an inspiration to many. The apostolic patriarch of our time, continually raising sons and daughters to be part of God’s revival army.

Dear Papa, thank you for your visionary leadership and heart of love. May you continue to be exceptional in ministry. Happy Birthday Sir!!!
