There is something about being around people who make things happen.
People who see opportunities where others see roadblocks. People who do not wait for perfect conditions before they move. They may not have everything figured out, but they have enough courage to start, enough discipline to continue, and enough sense to learn as they go.
People who are willing to step forward and do the work. Not only when it is convenient. Not only when people are watching. Not only when there is an applause waiting at the end. They show up because they understand that progress requires effort, consistency and a certain level of personal responsibility.
They are not murmuring unnecessarily or throwing confusion into the mix. They are not spending all their energy explaining why something cannot work. They are not the ones constantly pulling the room backwards with doubt, complaints and unnecessary drama.
They are not pretending to be getting work done or dragging their feet when there is work to be done. There is a difference between being busy and being productive, and these kinds of people know that difference. They focus on what matters. They take ownership. They understand that talk is not enough if nothing follows it.
They think in solutions. They do not just whine about problems or setbacks; they look for ways to move things forward. If there is a challenge, they ask what can be done. If there is a delay, they look for another route. If something fails, they take the lesson and try again with better understanding.
When you move with these kinds of people, you truly begin to see what is possible. Their mind set stretches you. Their drive challenges you. Their willingness to do the work reminds you that excuses may feel comfortable but they do not build anything worthwhile.
Stay close to people who make you think bigger, work better and stop hiding behind excuses.
See you next week.
