Starzs Investments Company Limited (SICL) was founded in 1986 by a renowned shipping mogul and maritime professional, Engr. Greg Utonwem Ogbeifun. It has since grown to become one of Nigeria’s foremost indigenous ship owning companies.
SICL has over the years earned a reputation for operational excellence, safety, professionalism and innovations. Besides maintaining a modern fleet of no fewer than 11 offshore support vessels, it has successfully delivered not less than 35 offshore marine contracts since 2010 just as it has continued to invest in human capital through its cadetship programme and workforce development initiatives.
For these and many other strides it has made since its establishment in the last four decades, SICL which has given birth to many other businesses rolled out the drums in a week-long celebration in the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt. Apparently aware that the strides it has made over the years has the hand of the almighty God in it, SICL kicked off the celebration with a thanksgiving service in the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt recently.
