Sifax Group and its Chairman, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi have been recognized and given awards in various categories at the Maritime Industry Merit Awards (MIMA) 2025 which took place in Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre, Lagos recently.
At the awards ceremony which was held at Oriental Hotel, Lagos, the conglomerate and Afolabi received three prestigious honours in recognition of their outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s maritime and corporate landscape.
While Sifax Group won the Most Corporate Social Responsibility Friendly Company, the Lifetime Maritime Award and Maritime Man of the Year were clinched by Afolabi.
