President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over the demise of the former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha.
Mustapha who was the Sardauna Adamawa died on August 28, 2025 in Abuja at the age of 76.
Tinubu in a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga acknowledged the deceased’s contributions to the growth and development of NCS and immense services to his home state, Adamawa, saying he will be sorely missed by all.
According to the statement which was obtained by Maritime Bits, the President extends his condolences to the Adamawa Emirate Council, the government and the people of Adamawa State on the passing of the traditional leader.
“He prays to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the late Alhaji Mustapha Alijanna Firdaus”, Tinubu added.
